Restaurant eating for large family

Okay, so I have 6 children under the age of 10. 5 if you don't wish to count the baby. Ordering food at a restaurant could pose a little stress to some, don't you think? So...rather than keep the poor waitress or waiter standing around while they slowly make up their minds or change their order, I pull out a handy piece of paper and pen. Then I go around the table starting with either the oldest or the youngest. I like to shake it up a bit sometimes. LOL. They make up their minds, I write it down. No changing your order. I then write down what the hubby and I want as well as the older two. Then, when we are done, we let the waitress/waiter know, and then we just read down the list. Quick and painless...very helpful to the worker. Also, when the food comes, you can consult the list to determine whose food is whose. Works for me!!

Good tip, Holly! We've done something similar, but writing it all down on paper is brilliant! I'll remember that next time we go out.

I'm sure you've been over to Rocks in My Dryer, Works for Me Wednesday, but it's one of my favorite things. Every Wed, everyone post links to their blogs where they give little tips like this. I like your top tip tuesday idea too. Here's my tuesday tip for you: I linked to a study today that uses sleep restriction to cure depression. That tip has worked for me.

Have a great day!

Yes, restricting sleep can cure depression. I'm getting ready to do a post on it since there's been lots of interest.
