This little girl has been making some serious progress the last couple of days. She is so happy, even more so than usual. She is actively playing with toys, and it's not just on a fleeting basis. She is getting INTO them, and wants to play immediately. She laughs, and full body moves with joy now. She is clasping her hands together, and not holding them tightly in a fist hardly at all now. We have another MRI scheduled on Wednesday, and she will be sedated for it. I am nervous, because they couldn't find a vein last time and poked her like 7 times trying. They finally succeeded at the point I was about to force them to give up. She is a little bigger now, but not much. Pray that they get the vein on the first time, and that everything is either still the same or able to improve. I worry that her brain is trying to grow and her bones aren't letting it...and if that happens, it will mean a surgery. That, my friends, is scary business. I also don't want her to ever suffer from seizures. I have seen them with my neice, and they are frightening. And they do damage. She is making such progress now, that I don't want anything to hinder it.
