Daddy Daughter Dance

Last night, they successfully completed the 3rd annual dance. When it started, it was open to girls 9-13. Ashley was 12. Then the next year it said for girls 9-12. Ashley was 13. We called, and they said "not a problem, bring her...we should extend the age anyway. Don't know why we have a limit." My husband said "I am sure there would be lots of girls who would want to go, and if you extended the age limit, it could help." They agreed. Fast forward to this year. It said for girls age 9-12. They are hopeless. Even though she is 14, she went and had a blast!

They danced the night away from 8:30 to 10:00. He bought her a rose. They ate chocolate cake. Whee! I am glad they enjoy this, and I hope next year, the people get a clue. The idea is to help daddies bond with their daughters. They already have a 3-12 age range. They would make more money...I will keep you posted next year.
