The dreaded bar....
Whats bad about this photo? Its clean. Compared to normal anyway. Not compared to anyone else's clean standards, though. But this is clean in my home. Am I bad,or what?
It whips around the kitchen all in its 1950's splendor. There are cabinets under it, that I love, but it's just huge. My 2 year old whacks his head on it daily, because he hangs out under it, but then forgets. Boom! He never learns. I don't know why.
There is also a desk area at the beginning of the bar. Adam is at the beginning of the desk in the first pic. There are 3 large drawers and then lots of leg space. There are 3 large cabinets on top. It separates the dining room from the kitchen with a see thru area. I know that is clear as mud, but I don't have any other photos of it clean, and I certainly am NOT posting any photos of it now....its bad. Needless to say, it's huge and a major hotspot. Practical, but not for packrat messy types like me.

Here's a solution for your bar: You could lay some coils of barbed wire on the bar to prevent any more piles. Then, when you want to use it, hang the wire on a hook, and put it back on the bar immediately afterwards.
Just kidding!!!! It is something I've considered, though, for all our hotspots around here. :-)
I like that idea!!! It could even keep Nathan off the bar and even the table. I should try that. Ha!!
I know you cant tell from the photos, but it really is a huge bar! You can lay on it, and have room for your friends.
YEP, barbed wire sounds like a GREAT idea.
Let's go down to the Mill and buy some! :-)
