Mother H

H is for home. I love to be home. I am such a homebody, and it is very different than when I was a kid. I lived out in the country and home was a prison. We nver went anywhere, and never saw anyone, outside of school. Summers were hard, let me tell you. So, when i moved out, I was always on the go. Here there and everywhere.... I was never home! Now that I have grown up, I prefer being home. I don't like to leave. Maybe it has something to do with the sheer number of things I have to do before I can leave or the sheer number of people who want to leave with me, but maybe it is easier to stay home. LOL! We do go to thrift stores about one time a week, and to the grocery store the same. I take one child to vocal music lessons one time a week, and actually that is about it. I could stay home the rest of the time. It got pretty crazy here for awhile, living in our van almost, but the minute I can squash that, I do! If Tony can run the errand, or take the kid somewhere, I most always have him do it. He is also the one to get the daily pops...I just don't like to leave...period.

Home is also the place I want my kids to always come back to. True, it is messy and full of people, but that makes it more cozy....Who am I kidding? The mess has got to go. I am always working on that one. But the people...there is always someone to play with, talk to, tickle, hug, or argue with here.

I don't particularly care for THIS home, except if I could fix everything that was wrong with it, I might be more inclined to want to stay. Plumbing is a huge problem, and I don't want to get milked by a plumber, so I just leave it unfixed....The neighborhood is mostly college kids, which hasn't been a big problem lately, so maybe it will stay that way. Otherwise, we have no problems calling the police.

Home is where the heart (and the mess) is.......

My house is MOSTLY clean, a lot of the time. Jeff likes it that way...but my children do a LOT.

I'm a homebody too. I would rather be home than just about anywhere..and I always send jeff, or ashlea, to town, which is a 25 minute drive. i also hate to drive.

tired of me yet. I love reading blogs, all the more because this is someone I know!!!...and we arent doing school today because I am trying to watch survivor. good teacher, huh?
