This was typical of this room...books everywhere, getting stepped on.
Books falling over and in every single area of the bookshelves...
now, one whole unit with the doors is completely empty...there is space in the other unit, and each layer with books has room to move, so the kids can get the books out. They were stuffed full before.
The floor!! I hauled out over 10 boxes, some really large boxes, of duplicate books, and books we will never read, and board books that Nathan just doesn't need. He has a basketfull...that is enough. We had at least 3 basketfulls before purging.
