N is for Now What?!!?
Aaron fell yesterday and broke bones around his eye socket and nose. He planted his face smack dab in the end of a scooter handle. He cannot move his eye up and down, and they are talking surgery.
Ashley is going for an echocardiogram today due to heart pain and palpitations. Her biological father died in his 30's due to a heart attack.
We got back from Amarillo Sunday night after hanging out all day long in our hometown waiting for day to pass so we can go to a really cool light display and double decker bus ride/train rides, only to find out they only do it on friday and saturday nights....it was sunday. Only the sign said all activities open all weekend. I guess sunday isn't a weekend?? So we wasted money, gas and all day for nothing.
My husband is seriously backlogged at work and it just got worse with the hospital visit yesterday and then he had to take Ashley today because I have to take Aaron to the eye surgeon.
Oh, but my son's team won the lego robotics tournament. Their team won out of 41 teams. We get to go to Ohio in 5 months now to the u.s. open tournament. It is in Dayton. I have never been to Ohio. Between this little jaunt, and the micro conference in July, we are gonna be broke.

I know how hard it is when your kids are hurt or sick. You feel helpless.

what is scary though is that aaron may have permanent vision issues.
ashley's echo looked normal but she gets an event monitor for how ever long today, and that will show cardiac activity over a long period of time.
