You are 17 years old today, and boy I have no idea where the time went. I don't feel old enough to have a 17 year old. Somedays, I feel like I am 17 myself. This parenting gig is weird.
You are very awesome! Still tender and gentle. You drive responsibly, you like to go shopping for me, you loan me money without thinking about it ( I do pay you back, but if I didn't, you wouldn't care), you love being around your family, and you're quite the comedian.
We have no idea where to go with your life plan, but we will get there, I am sure.
Yesterday, we went to the christian book store, and you spent 30.00 on bumper stickers and christian jewelry. This is so you.....you always share your faith. Shirts/all christian themed, jewelry/all christian themed, etc etc. We told you to make sure you drive good because with all those bumper stickers, you would make a bad witness if you drove crazy. You laughed....because you understand what we mean.
I LOVE YOU, KIDDO. You may be 6'3" but you're still and always will be my baby.
